Our commitment to human rights

OnlyLinks gives people a place to say who they are and where to find them. We respect internationally recognized human rights, including those in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and we let them shape how we build and moderate OnlyLinks.
Our commitments
- Freedom of expression. Creators can say who they are and point people where they want. We remove content only when it's illegal or breaks a published rule, and we use the narrowest action that works, such as hiding one link instead of closing an account.
- Privacy. We collect what we need to run the service, keep visitors untracked, and give creators control of their information.
- Safety and dignity. We act on child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats, hate, and harassment, because they silence and endanger people.
- Fair process. Rules are written down in plain language. When we act on an account, we explain why where we safely can, and a person reviews every appeal.
- Adult creators. Lawful adult work is work. Creators can link to it when they mark it 18+. We don't host it, and we don't treat those creators as second-class.
- Transparency. We publish how often we act on content and receive government requests, so people can hold us to these commitments.
How this shapes moderation
Every enforcement decision weighs the harm of leaving content up against the harm of taking it down. We look at context, apply the same rules to everyone regardless of plan or following, and record why we acted. Government requests to remove lawful content are assessed against these commitments as well as the law.
Appeals
If we act on your page and you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or email support@onlylinks.io. A person who wasn't involved in the original decision will review it and tell you the outcome.
Getting better
We're a young company. We'll review these commitments as OnlyLinks grows, as laws change, and as we learn from creators, visitors, and experts in online safety and civil liberties.
