Terms of Service

1. Welcome

OnlyLinks gives you one public page with your name, your links, and a look you choose. By creating an account, buying a plan, or visiting a page on OnlyLinks, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you don't agree, don't use OnlyLinks.

If you use OnlyLinks on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for them, and “you” includes them.

2. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes or the law requires. When a change materially affects your rights, we'll tell you by email or in your dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required sooner by law. If you keep using OnlyLinks after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you don't accept them, you can cancel and close your account.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
• You need a valid email address. Your page can't be published until that email is verified.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it happened because of our failure. Tell us right away at support@onlylinks.io if you think someone else has access.
• One person, one account. Each account has one public page.
• The information you give us, including your name and email, must be accurate and kept current.

4. Your username

Your username becomes your page address. It must be 3 to 20 characters, use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores, and start with a letter. Some names are reserved for OnlyLinks itself.

• You can change your username once every 30 days.
• After a change, your old address forwards to your new one for 90 days, and the old name stays reserved for a further 30 days before anyone else can take it.
• You don't own a username. We may reclaim or change one that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, misleads visitors, or breaks these Terms. Where we can, we'll tell you first.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

OnlyLinks has a Free plan and paid plans. The features and prices of each plan are shown on our pricing page. Free is a complete page and is not a trial.

Monthly plans

• Plus and Pro are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. We don't offer free trials, except for free time earned through the referral program.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Some purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe service, which acts as the seller of record for that purchase and collects any sales tax, GST, or VAT that applies. When that happens, Link's terms also apply to the purchase.
• You can cancel or switch plans at any time from Billing in your dashboard. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and your paid features stay on until then.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable and we don't give credit for part of a month.
• If a renewal payment fails, your paid features stay on for 7 days while you update your payment method. After that, your public page uses the Free look until a payment succeeds.
• We may change prices. A new price applies to you only from your next billing period after we've given you at least 30 days' notice.

What happens to your design when a plan ends

We never delete the look you designed. If your plan no longer includes a feature, visitors see the Free version of that part of your page, and your saved design comes back as soon as your plan includes it again.

6. The Founders pass

• The Founders pass is a single payment, limited to the first 100 buyers.
• It gives the account that bought it everything in the Pro plan for as long as OnlyLinks operates the service. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the OnlyLinks service, not of a person.
• It belongs to one account and can't be transferred, resold, or split. If you already pay monthly when you buy it, your monthly plan stops renewing at the end of its current period.
• Future paid add-ons that are not part of the Pro plan aren't automatically included. A refund or chargeback of the Founders payment ends the pass.
• If we ever shut OnlyLinks down, we'll give Founders pass holders at least 90 days' notice and help them export their page content.

7. The referral program

Every account gets a referral link. When someone new signs up with it, verifies their email, and publishes a page with at least one link within 30 days, the referral counts.

• The new member gets 30 days of Plus, or 60 days if a Founders pass holder invited them.
• You get one month free: 30 days of Plus if you're on Free, or one month's price as credit on your next invoice if you pay monthly. Free time from several referrals runs back to back.
• Founders pass holders bank one month of credit toward paid add-ons, if and when we launch any. Banked credit only applies to OnlyLinks add-ons, expires if the add-ons it could apply to are never launched, and can't be exchanged for cash or anything else.
• Referral rewards are capped at 12 per account in any 12 months. People you invite still get their free time after that.
• Rewards have no cash value and are not transferable. We don't pay commissions. Referring yourself, using fake or duplicate accounts, or spamming your link is abuse. We may refuse or remove rewards earned through abuse, and close the accounts involved.
• We may change or end the referral program. Changes don't take away rewards you've already earned, except rewards earned through abuse.

8. Your content

Your content means everything you put on OnlyLinks: your name, username, biography, photo, links, link titles and descriptions, social profiles, and design choices.

• You keep ownership of your content.
• You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, and adapt your content as needed to run OnlyLinks and show your page. That includes showing your public page in previews and, with your permission, in examples. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or in short-term backups.
• You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Your public page is public. Anyone with the address, including search engines, can see it.

9. What you can't do

Don't use OnlyLinks to post, link to, or take part in:

• Child sexual abuse or exploitation material, or anything that sexualizes minors. We report this to the authorities.
• Content or links that promote terrorism, violent extremism, or credible threats of violence.
• Harassment, hate based on protected characteristics, or doxxing.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Malware, phishing, scams, fake giveaways, or links that hide where they really go.
• Impersonating a person or brand in a way that misleads visitors.
• Selling or linking to illegal goods or services.
• Spam, including mass-created accounts.
• Scraping, overloading, probing, or interfering with OnlyLinks, or trying to get around plan limits, rate limits, or our security.

10. Age-restricted links

OnlyLinks does not host adult media. You may link to lawful adult content elsewhere only if you are 18 or older and you mark that link as 18+.

• Visitors who open an 18+ link see a short “18+ Content Ahead” confirmation before they leave OnlyLinks.
• That confirmation is a warning, not age verification. We don't check or store anyone's age. If the law where you or your audience live requires age verification, that is your responsibility at the destination.
• Failing to mark adult links is a breach of these Terms.

11. Your visitors

You are responsible for the sites, products, and offers your page links to. If you earn a commission, receive gifts, or are paid to promote something, you must disclose that to your visitors as the law where you and they live requires.

12. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using OnlyLinks at any time. To close your account, email us and we'll delete it.
• We may remove content, hide a link, unpublish a page, or suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts visitors at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where it's safe and legal to do so, we'll tell you what happened and why.
• If you think we made a mistake, reply to our notice or email support@onlylinks.io and a person will review it.
• If we close your account for breaking these Terms, we don't refund amounts already paid, including a Founders pass, except where the law requires it.

13. Our platform

• OnlyLinks, its design, its code, and the OnlyLinks name and mark belong to us. These Terms don't give you any right to use them except to use the service.
• Pages on the Free plan show the OnlyLinks mark. Don't hide or alter it.
• We are always changing OnlyLinks. We may add, change, or remove features, and we'll give notice before removing a paid feature you rely on.
• If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

14. Third-party services

Links on OnlyLinks pages lead to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Payments are handled by Stripe, and their terms apply to the payment.

15. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep OnlyLinks fast and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost opportunities.
• Our total liability to you for all claims related to OnlyLinks is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $50.
• These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, your links, or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Before starting a formal dispute, please email us so we can try to fix the problem. If we can't, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Alberta, unless the consumer protection laws where you live give you the right to bring the claim there.

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we haven't waived it. You can't transfer these Terms to someone else without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of OnlyLinks.
